I painted this in dark times but I was learning to be more positive in life. So when I painted the mermaid, I made sure she was focusing on the sky, not even noticing the storm. Which in my mind, was a little life metaphor haha	This was my third painting ever! Sadly I had to leave it to my evil ex in Kansas because I had to pack all my stuff in my little focus and drive back home to Colorado, where I belong <3	Inspired by the blood moon. Started at the beginning of a blood moon cycle and ironically finished at the end of the same cycle.
